Vingino has a heart for children

Vingino has a heart for children, particularly those children in the world who are all on their own. That is why Vingino will be supporting the SOS Children’s Villages for the next three years in helping these children grow up in a loving family. The collaboration between both organisations was kicked off with a unique photo shoot with SOS Children’s Villages ambassador in the Netherlands Ruud van Nistelrooy.

As part of the collaboration, Vingino will be donating clothing to SOS Children’s Villages Bosnia in February 2010. Vingino is also devoting its next flash collection this season to this children’s aid organisation. The theme of this flash collection is “Wees Supporter” and was created with a playful reference to the World Cup. Part of the proceeds from this collection will be donated to SOS Children’s Villages.

To portray this collection as effectively as possible, SOS Ambassador Ruud van Nistelrooy has been brought in. This pro football player and 3 children modelled for Vingino on the training field of the famous Real Madrid football club. A fun detail is that the clothing was photographed by Ruud’s wife Leontien, a photographer by profession. The special “Wees Supporter” collection will be available in shops from April 2010. For more than 60 years, SOS Children’s Villages has been helping children without parental control or children of families in difficult circumstances to grow up in a loving family.
